Urban Historical session on The Nordic Historians Conference

On the conference in Tromsø in Norway in August the centre will contribute to a session about the post-industrial town.

When The 27th Nordic Historians Conference takes place on 11-14 August in Tromsø, Norway, it will contain two urban historical sessions:
  • The Post-industrial town: Nordic Urban Development after 1950
  • Ethnicity, gender, and entrepreneurship in Nordic towns 1850-2000

As part of the first session about the post-industrial town PhD Fellow Kristian Buhl Thomsen from The Danish Centre for Urban History will give a presentation about the Danish urban development and urban planning after 1950. The session is arranged by Professor Lars Nilsson from Stockholm.
