Conference on Houses year 800-1600

Conference on European culture of housing from the Viking Age to the Renaissance are planned to take place at Aarhus University 8-10 December 2010.

Section for Medieval and Renaissance Archaeology at Aarhus University are planning a conference focusing on the development of European culture of housing during 800 years from the Viking Age to the Renaissance. Keynote speakers will be Matthew Johnson, University of Southampton, Kate Giles, University of York, Thomas Kühtreiber and Christina Schmid, Austrian Academy of Sciences. Other papers for the conference are invited before 15 September 2010.
